It was announced on Fox News early this morning that President Obama and his family plan to visit Walt Disney World sometime in May (dates are being withheld for security concerns). The report said that the family would visit each of the theme parks for one day and one day at one of the water parks. It was also reported that on the day the first family visited a park that park would be completely closed to all other guests.
I first saw this report on the Disboards early this morning 4-1-2010 and thought it was important enough to pass on.
If you are planning to go to Disney World in May, you might want to think doing some contingency planning. It should be workable, but you’ll have to be flexible.

Just going to throw this in the mix. My husband was there for a shuttle launch this past weekend. Obama and fam went on from Alabama, even after they knew the shuttle wouldn’t launch. (To visit Giffords?) The park was closed and there was an unusual amount of security EVERYWHERE surrounding the place. Looks like he may have been there!
