Casey’s Corner – Open letter to Disney

Subject: Buns at Casey’s Corner

To: Anyone that will listen at Mouseville Headquarters.

Since you will no longer return my calls, emails, letters, telegraphs, smoke signals, Twitter posts, Facebook, or any other form of communication, I’ll post this open letter.

I want to know who’s responsible? I still can’t believe you’re still doing it. It’s been over a year and it’s still happening. The last time someone actually replied to me, you said you would consider my request. Why haven’t you changed? It’s an outrage. It’s unbelievable. It borders on treason. As Scotty would say, “It just doesn’t make any sense Captain!”

Please, I beg of you, go back to serving regular white bread buns at Casey’s Corner!!! I know you want to portray that you are health conscious and are trying to serve a more healthful menu. BUT, wheat buns on a hot dog??! You’ve got to be kidding. If I wanted to eat healthy, I’d go somewhere else, not to get a hot dog.

It’s unAmerican. There is no baseball park in the country (and Casey was a baseball player, a rather fat one if I remember right) that serves ballpark hot dogs on wheat buns. It’s inhuman!

Just to make sure you know how serious I am, I will never eat another hot dog at Disney World until you bring back the regular white bread buns. Take that. And just be wary, I might just start a campaign to boycott something until I get my way. I am a powerful, influential, web presence (at least in my own mind).

You can reply to this open letter by filling out the comment section below. I’ve even made it where you can do it anonymously (if you have trouble with big words, that means without telling anyone who you are).

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and please respond as soon as possible.

Dad

ADDENDUM: As of today, November 5, 2013, I can proudly report that Disney has listened to Dad and returned to a normal Hot Dog Bun. Thank you Disney. I can eat at Casey’s again.
