Celebrate Mickey’s Birthday at WDW!

This month you can celebrate Mickey’s Birthday at Walt Disney World!  And that’s not all – see what else is happening at WDW!

This month Innoventions will debut an interactive show called The SpectacuLAB. Guests can participate in experiments let by real scientist. There will be humor and science. Almost as fun sounding as Lunch with Dad!

When Epcot International Festival of the Arts opens in January, the Disney on Broadway Dining Package will be returning too. If you book a packaged you get a delicious meal at an Epcot restaurant and priority seating for the concert. The price of the package is based on the restaurant selected. The Festival of the Arts runs from January 12 – February 19th and dining packages usually fill up, so be sure to book early!

Are you an Annual Passholder? Disney just extended Passholders the opportunity to reserve seating at several Eat to the Beat Concerts. All you need to do to get in on this great experience is visit the Annual Passholder area inside the Fesitval Center in Future World and pick up a badge for a select performance.  This is limited to a first-come first-served.

A brand-new Quick Service location is nearing completion in Epcot. Choza De Margarita will be opening soon at the Mexico Pavilion. Get ready to sample hand crafted beverages and small bites such as grilled pork on homemade tortillas and fresh guacamole.

If you’re going to be in Walt Disney World on November 18th, you’ll get to celebrate Mickey’s birthday! There will be special buttons, merchandise, and even a Sorcerer Mickey cake! Plus, there will be fun birthday props so don’t forget to get your picture taken in all four parks.

Three new Italian restaurants are coming to Disney Springs this winter. Maria & Enzo’s will feature family-friendly entrees such as eggplant parmesan and baked pasta. Enzo’s Hideaway will be a speakeasy located in the rum-runner tunnels beside Maria & Enzo’s. Expect a casual menu and Prohibition-era cocktails. Pizza Ponte will be the most casual of the restaurants and will serve pizza, sandwiches, and yummy Italian desserts. This trio of Italian deliciousness will be located in The Landing near The Edison.
