About this blog

These pages tell the story of one families heroic struggle to survive against all odds… in some of the most difficult of circumstances…

Join us as we tell the story of how Dad and his crew vacation together as a family (Say it ain’t so, Joe…)

It’s our hope that Dads Guide to Disney World will provide you with some information that will help in the preparation for you best vacation possible. Over the years we’ve visited Disney World whenever we could work it out. Each of our trips has been during a different stage of life. Choose from the stage of life below that most matches your situation and see what happened to us.

  • Leave Kid at Home – After our daughter was born, we took a short trip without her.
  • Little Kids Trip – Read about the first trip we took with our children.
  • Preteen Kids – Going to WDW with preteens can be challenging.
  • Teenagers – Taking teenagers to Disney World can be some of the best times of life.
  • The Whole Family – See what happens when Grandma says we should all go to Disney World, together.
  • Grown Kids – One of the finest joys in life is watching your grown kids share their love of Disney World with you.
  • Alone Again – Mrs. Mom saw something in Readers Digest about spending time at Disney World as adults after the kids have grown. Sign me up.
  • Dad’s Rants and other stuff – is full of Dad’s wisdom, humor, and anything else Dad can think of.
