<description>Greetings … I wanted to give you a heads up on a new app that we just rolled out for folks vacationing in Orlando

I got the idea for the Orlando Weather app after visiting Disney back in June. Each afternoon there was a pop-up thunderstorm hit (as there always is). When they would make the announcement that the rides were closing, everyone would go to their smart phones trying to figure out if it would be a long or short wait. I realized that there really wasn’t an app for tourists, like me.

So after returning from vacation I got the Orlando Weather app together and rolled it out. It is free and has a radar view just for the Orlando resorts … it also has hurricane info, traffic info, beach forecasts and more … gobs of great stuff.

You can find it by searching &quot;Orlando Weather&quot; in the app store.

The app is available for Droid, iPhone and Blackberry devices.

Finding a good source for weather is important for folks who are far from home … I thought I would let you know about it and ask you to consider blogging about it to get the word out. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions.

Thanks
