As you well know, Dad is deep in Palooza planning. In fact this week we are going to dig deeply into our Epcot plan. Everything has been rolling along swimmingly until Mrs. Mom asked a question this afternoon. A question that might just put an end to the Palooza. (Say it ain’t so Joe.)

Before I go in to what caused such consternation in our house today let’s talk about what’s happening this week. Tomorrow, Dad’s gonna start talking about our Epcot plan. Epcot is a fun park to plan for. It’s not as hard as the Magic Kingdom to plan for. Wednesday and Thursday (if the Palooza doesn’t end tonight) we’ll discuss the plan in detail including dinner (yum, yum).
What, I skipped Tuesday? Well yes I did. Tuesday is reserved for a big surprise. I can’t give any details, but let’s just say this is the biggest announcement Dad’s ever made.
Of course we’ll have our normal Disney Cruise Friday and Healthy Habits Saturday. The Princess will keep us updated with all the happenings of the week. (Even she doesn’t know about the big announcement.)
Now back to the Palooza. Mom is a bit distressed. We were sitting around this afternoon, doing our favorite thing to do on a Sunday afternoon, we were watching a baseball game. (Mrs. Mom loves baseball.) The Texas Rangers are her team. While we were watching the Ranger game today, Mrs. Mom asked a innocuous question. She asked “is the World Series during the Palooza?” Oops. I dunno let’s look it up.
So that’s what we did. We looked it up. “Good, it’s after the Palooza. I guess we can go.” How about the playoffs? Yes, the playoffs will be during the Palooza. “What are we going to do?” Mrs. Mom asked. We’ll just have to hope the Rangers miss the playoffs, I said. Wrong answer.
So, right now the Palooza is up in the air (not really). I guess we might just have to make some adjustments to our evening plans to accommodate Mrs. Mom’s passion which is not such a bad thing.
