Muppet Vision 3D

It’s time to play the music…

I have always been a fan of the Muppet Show. I envision myself as the little green guy that knows everything. When Muppet Vision 3D opened at Disney Hollywood Studios, I couldn’t wait for the next trip so we could see the show. It’s always one of my favorite stops. Until the last trip.

The Hecklers

It was just one of those nights. For some reason, (no Mrs. Mom, It’s not because I’m getting old) I didn’t sleep very well. We got up the next morning and trudged over to MGM Studios. The crowds were still pretty heavy. We got through the morning fine. Lunch time came and we just happened to be in the vicinity of Toy Story Pizza Planet. Great timing (more like awesome planning by the most awesomest Disney World planner in the whole world). We ate lunch. What happens after lunch. Time for a nappy pooh. No, it was time for the Muppets! Yeah!

I love the Muppets. (I said that before, didn’t I?) So we got in line, which didn’t look to long. It ran from the walkway between Toy Story Pizza Planet to the The Muppet Vision Studios. The line did disappear behind the building, but how long could a line like that be? I don’t ever remember going behind the building so it couldn’t be very long.

Finally the doors opened and they started admitting guests. And we started walking. You know what? There is a very long line that curls behind the Muppet Vision 3D building. Enough for 2 whole shows. Do you know how long it takes for 2 whole shows? I was ready to drop. I think I took 3 naps standing up in line.

Finally we made it into the show. The music started and my little green hero came out on stage. The next thing I knew the cannon was firing and the show was over. I slept through the whole show. Drats. Can we get back in line so Dad can see his show? What do you mean no? Just who do you think makes the schedule that says we have to go get in line for the silly car stunt show. Come on. I’ll cry.

I cried, to no avail, we went on and saw the cars. (They broke down but that’s a whole other story.)
