Last year I wrote about a website that declared June 6 was the most important Walt Disney World date on the calendar. The same thing holds true this year. The same guy is still touting December 3 as the best day of the year to arrive at Walt Disney World.
I still contend this is not the best time to visit Disney World. Yes, the Pop Warner crowds aren’t bad, but they can be a nuisance. That aside, if you don’t book early the Value Resorts will be all booked up. There won’t be any discounts that week. (Two years in a row that week has been excluded, and that’s all I’ve been watching.) No Free Dining. No 25% off. No buy 4 get 3 free. Nothing.
Yes, at one time a long time ago, the first week of December was the best time of the year to visit Disney World. Now, in Dad’s humble opinion, it’s the 2 weeks surrounding Pop Warner Week. The week after Thanksgiving or the week after Pop Warner.
But even if you go the week of Pop Warner you can enjoy Christmas at Disney World. Which is truly the most wonderful time of the year!
