The upgrade continues – Drive to Orlando

See America, Drive to Orlando

Part two of Dad’s Magical Mystery Upgrade Tour begins with the Drive to Orlando page.

Talking about driving to Orlando brings back memories. When the kids were younger, we used to drive to Florida almost every year. (Dad’s Dad and Dad’s Mom lived in Florida.) We’d hop in the mini-van (Dodge Grand Caravan, the perfect car for the job) and off we’d go. After about a mile or so, The Princess would settle in with her books and videos, and The Man-Child would be totally bored and start climbing on things. (Or he’d go to sleep. He likes to sleep in cars.)

Mrs. Mom and I would sit up front and just pour our hearts out to each other. It was so romantic. (Yeah, right.)

Driving to Orlando was one of those memories that our family has that will last for all of our lives.
