Walt Disney World – See the family first

We had the car

We had “THE PLAN

Now all we had to do is figure out when to see “the folks”. The drive from Corpus Christi to Disney World would take us right through Tallahassee Florida. Home of the Florida State Seminoles. Also home, at the time, of Dad’s, Mom and Dad. Confused yet? So we had to stop. But when? On the way to the magic, or on the way home? Since this was going to be a Stop and Smell the Roses occasion we decided to see the folks first.

So we did. It was fun. I think Mom took us to Wakulla Springs State Park where we saw “one of the largest and deepest freshwater springs.” Alligators, or is it crocodiles are abundant and we kept threatening to throw the Man-Child to the alligators (mainly it was me, and I wasn’t totally serious.)

It was fun. You ought to try it sometime.

Back to the beginning of the Stop and Smell the Roses tour.
